“The pupils in our school have significant and complex needs, including severe learning difficulties... Ed was so respectful and understanding. Each session was tailored to the needs and abilities of the group and Ed was able to give each pupil attention and opportunities to engage... All of Ed’s sessions were utterly brilliant and we can’t wait to have him back in school in the future!”
Hall School - Norwich
“Ed has visited the school where I work a couple of times with his animals and I have always been impressed with his friendly nature, knowledge and patience with even the most wriggly and inquisitive children. When my own sons said they would like a similar experience for their birthday party I had no hesitation in booking Ed to come to our home. As always he was punctual, humorous and allowed the children to have a fully immersive experience. I would highly recommend Mini Monsters and will be booking Ed again in the future”

What We Do
Mini Monsters brings the natural world directly to you.
We deliver calm, structured, hands-on animal encounters using a carefully selected range of exotic species — including reptiles and invertebrates — allowing children to learn through real experience rather than observation alone.
We help children understand habitats, classification and animal care — aligning with KS1 & KS2 science outcomes, while increasing engagement and confidence.
Our sessions are:
Educational, engaging and age-appropriate
Designed to build confidence and empathy
Fully risk-assessed and professionally delivered
Whether it’s a classroom, birthday party, scout group or public event, every session is adapted to suit your audience.
For Schools & Educational Settings
Curriculum-Linked Wildlife Workshops
Our school sessions support learning across:
Living things & habitats
Adaptation & classification
Animal welfare & conservation
Confidence, communication & sensory engagement
Sessions can be delivered as:
Single enrichment visits
Multi-session school days
Repeat visits for larger schools
We regularly work with:
Primary schools

Each session is calm, inclusive and flexible, with plenty of opportunity for questions, observation and (where appropriate) supervised handling.
For Parties & Private Bookings
A Birthday Experience They’ll Never Forget
Mini Monsters parties are fun, exciting and genuinely educational — giving children the chance to meet animals they’ve never seen up close before.
We bring everything needed, guide the session from start to finish, and adapt the experience to suit the age and confidence of the children involved.
Perfect for:
Birthday parties
Family events
Scout & guide groups
Youth clubs
Parents love our calm, professional approach — and children love the animals.
Safety Comes First
Animal welfare and child safety are at the heart of everything we do.
All animals are captive-bred and well cared for - rehomed animals are used where possible
Sessions are fully risk-assessed
Clear boundaries and hygiene protocols are always followed
Handling is optional and always supervised
Fully compliant with school safeguarding & welfare standards.
This ensures a safe, respectful and enjoyable experience for both children and animals.
“We had an incredible experience with Ed. He was engaging, fun, and shared so many interesting facts that kept everyone captivated. The kids (and adults!) absolutely loved him. Ed was not only reliable and a great communicator, but also a genuinely nice guy who clearly loves what he does. Whether you’re planning a party or a school event, I can’t recommend him highly enough. Thank you, Ed, for making our event so special!”
