The Animals (& Kate!)

These animals were captive bred in the UK and the ones which are used for handling were chosen for their good temperaments and robustness.  Some animals are only used for display and discussion, such as the tarantulas and scorpion.  Tarantulas should not be handled as they are very easily injured and even killed if dropped.
